Practical learning to support confident, capable and resilient elected members
Focused development programmes designed around the real responsibilities of elected members — helping individuals build skills, confidence and effectiveness in their role.
Personal Development
These course outlines have been written to provide you with an overview of the range of programmes we can tailor for your organisation.
All sessions, are delivered virtually via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet.
Releasing staff to take part in learning activities – particularly for sessions that last more than one day – can be problematic and it is possible to structure courses so that they are broken down into manageable chunks.
More than anything, these seminars are designed to be engaging, practical, relevant and transferable to the work environment – essential characteristics for successful learning in a demanding world.
If you have any special requirements that are not covered by the contents of this prospectus, please contact me so that we can discuss how these could be met.

I must admit that I groaned when I heard that I was attending a minute taking course, but I was so surprised by how interesting and useful it was. Miranda kept us all engaged throughout and the practise parts of the course were incredibly useful. I no longer dread minute taking and find it much easier since attending the course.
