Recruitment and Selection Interviewing
This course is perfect for delegates whose role involves the recruitment and selection of staff. It is suitable for experienced recruiters who require a refresher, or delegates who are new to the process.
Programme objectives
By the end of this programme, delegates will be able to:
- Construct a job description and an employee specification using the in-house format
- Write a job advertisement
- Evaluate and assess applicants’ application forms to develop a shortlist for interview
- Plan and carry out a recruitment interview
- Comply with recruitment and selection legislation
- Work within organisational policy and procedure.
Further information
The programme covers the entire recruitment process, from the design of an employee specification through to the appointment of the successful candidate. The course can be run as a one-day theory-only session. The two-day option provides delegates with the opportunity to take part in some gentle skills practise.
